Characteristics and application scope of semiconductor refrigeration chips

Semiconductor refrigeration chips, also known as thermoelectric refrigeration chips, are a type of heat pump. As a special cooling source, semiconductor refrigeration chips have the following characteristics in technical applications:
1. It does not require any refrigerant, can work continuously, has no pollution source, no rotating parts, will not produce a rotating effect, and no sliding parts. It is a solid piece that works without vibration or noise, has a long service life, and is easy to install.
2. It can both cool and heat. The cooling efficiency is generally not high, but the heating efficiency is very high, always greater than 1. Therefore, using a single piece can replace separate heating and cooling systems.
3. Reverse use refers to temperature difference power generation, and semiconductor refrigeration chips are generally suitable for power generation in medium and low temperature areas.
4. The power of a single refrigeration component pair is very small, but when combined into a fuel cell stack, using the same type of fuel cell stack in series or parallel to form a refrigeration system, the power can be greatly increased, so the refrigeration power can range from a few milliwatts to tens of thousands of watts.
The temperature difference range of semiconductor refrigeration chips can be achieved from a positive temperature of 90 ℃ to a negative temperature of 130 ℃.
5. It is a current conversion type component that can achieve high-precision temperature control through input current control. With temperature detection and control methods, it is easy to achieve remote control, program control, and computer control, making it convenient to form an automatic control system.
6. The thermal inertia is very small, and the cooling and heating time is very fast. With good heat dissipation at the hot end and no load at the cold end, the cooling fins can reach the maximum temperature difference in less than a minute after being powered on.
7. Thermoelectric semiconductor refrigeration is mainly applied in household appliances, medical equipment, special equipment, automotive industry, industrial equipment, experimental research equipment, military missiles, aerospace and other fields.
